Cooperation

The Department of Informatics at Lund University cooperates with organisations in Lund University and Lund University School of Economics and Management, and external organisations, private as well as public.

Management and IT (MIT) Research School

The department is associated with the national Swedish Research School of Management and IT. The PhD education is given in collaboration with MIT, which provides the PhD students with a community of fellow PhD students and senior researchers.

The Swedish Information Systems Academy (SISA)

The department is a member of the Swedish Information Systems Academy (SISA). The association's purpose is to contribute to coordinating and drawing attention to research and education in the subject area called informatics, or information systems, in Sweden.

Decision Management Notation (DMN) On-Ramp Review Group

Researchers at the department are members of Decision Management Notation (DMN) On-Ramp Review Group.

Private and public organisations

Private and official organisations take an active part in both the education as guest and research as partners. They are often a base for empirical studies within the subject. Within the reserch education there are several learning partnerships.

 

Student organisations

LundaEkonomerna is the student union for all students at Lund University School of Economics and Management. They are represented on the Department board and on the Programme Committee.

Lunds Doctoral Student Union (LDK) is the student union for all PhD students at Lund University. They are represented on the Department board and on the Committee for Research Education.

Studentlund is a collaboration between student unions, nations and the academic society (AF) in Lund.
